What's next for Bungie?

Uhh.. I'm pretty sure, sooner or later, there is going to be a movie. And Peter Jackson didn't do just LOTR, he did King Kong. I think he would touch greatly on all of the battles of Halo.

why did they can the annoucement?

Well whatever their project is I just hope that it isn't some awful combination of Lord of the Rings and Halo. A Medieval Master Chief type hero doesn't sound very appealing, at least not to me.

Is everyone forgetting they had a huge announcement canned at e3 by microsoft?
It wasn't halo wars... they were probably gonna announce what their peter jackson collaboration is.

bioshock was made by 2k boston. bioshock 2 is being made by 2k marin. on the subject of bioware and bungie teaming up to make a game together, it would work, but never happen. if they did make a game together, though, the game would probably be the best in the world.

the next halo game is going to relate to the marathon series

Wasn't Marathon basically Halo? I played the arcade game Marathon, and thought that it was pretty much Halo.

Think of bioware and bungie as a good campain. Bioware with the amazing storytelling,Bungie with the kick ass gameplay and multipler. If they are done with Halo, what about Marathon?? Rekindal that series with bioware??

Bioware and Bungie, would not be cool. We'd get a game where a Big Daddy and Mastercheif beat the hell out of each other while Cortana and Andrew Ryan fought for audio rights. No fun there. It's like watching two pasty skinned kids try to godmode eachother to death in a dark corner, that doesn't sound like fun. nerd 1: I am invisible, nerd 2: I can see your body heat! nerd 1: nuh uh, my guy's really cold. Also, I think(notice how I said think)that Microsoft has rights to the Halo trilogy and not Halo itself. Because I'm sure we can all agree that if we got more Halo titles that were made by microsoft but not bungie, that would be like having Madden title without a football.
