Where does it all go?

Patrick Murphy ASKS:

You guys always have things like HDTVs, headsets, and other electronic stuff and I was wondering what you do with all of the things you review once you are done with them?

OXM SAYS:

Generally, we return them. HDTVs are obtained with legally binding loan agreements; we have generally 30 to 45 days to review a set and then we have to return it. If anything happens to it in transit, we have to pay for it (and that happened once, with a lovely Sharp set that we gave a great review – it was hard enough to send it back, but it was even harder having to pay for it once it went to pieces). Sometimes the manufacturer does not care if we return smaller items like headphones and controllers and battery chargers. In that case, it goes into the collection of Stuff We Use To Make the Magazine. We also have a permanent stash of boxed games that we use as a reference library, because it’s very useful to grab the copy of the original Military Shooter and play it for reference when you’re working on the review for Military Shooter II.

COMMENTS:

Are there any peripherals, controllers or any type of gadgets that you received to review and never came out ?

Man, that would be the perfect way to find my way around those Five hundred dollar head sets...

I hear that Generic Military Shooter (A knock off of Military Shooter) is coming soon.

Where can I get a copy of this "Military Shooter II?" Sounds awesome!

"People LOVE free stuff. But no one wants the free gift that Jesus has for them."

This might be the most hilarious post ever.

Nice, free stuff.

People LOVE free stuff. But no one wants the free gift that Jesus has for them.

Hehe... sorry I meant loyal readers!

Or loyal employees... :)

That would be awsome if the companies let you keep the stuff, and then you guys split all of the stuff evenly to employees
