Rock Band Download Low-Down: Week 37

Moar Testament, MOAR! Something off the "Practice what you preach" album would be cool.

Awesome. Testament. Simply awesome. Only one song? BOO!

Why can't we get some really challenging bass songs like Les Claypool. His band Bucket of Bernie Brains features Buckethead and has some mean drums... while the vocals may not be the most challenging not all RockBand players know talented enough singers (in my case a singer period) so the 3 out of 4 is just shifted (normally the bass is the weak point), but hey, even some Old skool primus would be fun!!!!

Well I just went and traded in my dust collecting Wii today and decided to finally pick up Rock Band so this is the first time I have looked at your Rock Band download articles and I have to say I like it. This will at least give me a more in depth idea on if a new song will be worth it. I know there will be some songs I'll buy just because who it is but anything else I'm not sure on I can check here for the quality.

What the hell is on Harmonix's mind? Seriously? Use a better Staind song, get 'They Say' out of the game (Seriously, a one dot rating for everything? WASTE OF F***ING TIME!)

For every Who track pack there are 2 or 3 track releases like this. I'm not really impressed with these songs. Thought about dling the Testament track but decided against it after plowing through 3200 MS Points with other DLC songs.

If I had to pick a week to run low on MS points, it'd be this one. I like They Say, but censored songs are no fun, the rest seems like garbage. I like Staind, but how Right Here, It's Been Awhile, or So Far Away. Even Believe would have been good. Rock Band 2 is coming, but keep us entertained while we wait as well. Next week, expect a step-up, they need a big splash after the past few.
